We make all our food from scratch by hand on the premises everyday.
The simplest and most popular way of enjoying our healthy seasonal well-balanced food is to have a bento. This is the Japanese equivalent of a packed lunch. Rice, a main dish, a choice of side dishes and a bowl of miso soup. Or you can have our famous curry, our delicious donburi or a selection of sushi.
If you're not feeling hungry, come and have a chat over a cup of matcha latte with green tea cake. Or later on in the day, you may fancy a glass of authentic Japanese beer or sake.

Cha no Ma literally means "Tea Space" and can be translated as "sitting room" or "dining room" but actually it used to mean much more than that.
In olden times the cha no ma was the centre of family life, and it was used as a multi-functional room for sleeping, eating, receiving guests, and the like. It was in the Cha no Ma where everything happened.
This is the feeling we want to recreate at Cha no Ma.
